It's left to be seen whether Friday's TSSAA football showdown between Oakland and Ravenwood will be a preview of the BlueCross Bowl in Chattanooga in December.
But if it is, the two left fans longing for more after the instant classic, a Raptors 32-31 overtime win over the Patriots at Ray Hughes Stadium.
"Who knows, man," said Ravenwood coach Will Hester, when asked about a potential rematch in the state championship game. "There's a lot of football games left. We have a super important one next week, and they do too. In the end you can throw all the momentum out for those games."
