It wasn't one of those squeaky-clean and polished wins, but it was a win.
The Ravenwood High School football team used a couple fourth-quarter touchdowns and a solid defensive performance to pull away from Franklin for a gritty 28-7 Region 6-6A win in Week 9's cross-county clash.
Ravenwood senior Elliot Hampton called the game "dirty" for several reasons. Maybe it was the 18 penalties, including 11 for 128 yards against the Raptors, or maybe it was just the fierce rivalry between the pair.
