Solid defensive play and timely saves spelled a Ravenwood High School and Independence High boys' soccer scoreless draw in a District 10-AAA matchup on the Raptors' home field Friday.
"They are a sound team," Independence coach Eric Bossman said. "They were going to be hard to break down. We knew we had to be patient and what we needed to do defensively going into the match.
"Our game plan for the most part worked. A draw is a good result for us."
