On a beautiful Saturda morning in Dickson, the Lady Raptors showed what they were made of in their final race before the Region 6-AAA Championship. Senior Hadar Biger led the way for the second time in three meets, with Lily MacDonald, Charlotte Remkus, Hannah Kang, and Lily Turner scoring to earn a sixth place finish for Ravenwood. Ashley Young and Kennedy Carothers were sixth and seventh for the Lady Raptors. 

The JV girls race featured a breakout performance from freshman Juliana Wright, who was 6th overall with a new PR of 21:43. Sylvia Fikri, Kelly Gilroy, Addison Boggs and Annabelle Klein all finished in the top 25 and were separated by a mere 22 seconds. Mae Sheehan and Morgan Block were sixth and seventh for Ravenwood as the JV girls placed third. "It's fitting that their 2-5 split was so small. These girls absolutely love and support each other at every turn, and their racing shows that. They stick together on and off the course," said Coach Mueller. 

The girls will be back in action on Halloween morning at the Hermitage, where they will compete against many of the best teams in the state at the Region 6-AAA Championship meet.
