Ravenwood ‘rally girls’ strike again

 It might be just playing to the added pressure, or maybe there's some kind of magic in the halftime speeches from interim head coach Megan Holloway?

Or it just might be how the Ravenwood High School girls' soccer team has to play right now, as a second-half team. Regardless, the Raptors – who finished sixth in the District 10-AAA standings – will be playing for a Class AAA state championship berth after rallying in the second half, again, to defeat Oakland 2-1 on Wednesday at Chattanooga Christian.

The first-round victory sets up the Ravenwood girls against Collierville in the semis Thursday at 4 p.m.
