Raptors Hold Off Summit in District Game

In a thrilling district game, the Raptors held off Summit with a final score of 6-4. The Raptors got off to a strong start in the top of the first inning, scoring one run thanks to some errors by Summit. The defensive prowess of Linley Pittman was on full display as they pitched five strikeouts and made a crucial fielded out. The Raptors continued their offensive dominance in the third and fourth innings, scoring three runs to extend their lead. Kate Jurewicz had an impressive performance at the plate, going 1-for-3 with a double and reaching on an error. Pittman also had an outstanding game at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three singles. Summit fought back in the sixth inning, scoring three runs including a home run. However, the Raptors' defense held strong and prevented any further damage.  Overall, it was an intense matchup between two talented teams. The Raptors showcased their offensive firepower and solid defense to secure the victory over Summit in this pivotal district game.
