The Raptor Lacrosse team sits at 5-2 after three games in three days this past weekend. The Raptors began the long weekend on Friday against MBA. Despite a great effort by the Raptors, they lost the game 11-6. The Raptors were outshot by MBA 44 to 19 and were outplayed in the clear game as well. At one point in the second half, the Raptors knotted the score at 4, but couldn't keep pace from there. On Saturday, the Raptors travelled to Knoxville to match up against The Webb School (Webb Knox). The Raptors were fired up after their loss to MBA the day before and were looking for a win. The Raptors dismantled Webb Knox 13-2, beating them in every aspect of the game. On Sunday, the Raptors faced off against Knoxville Catholic and continued to dominate every phase of the game. The 18-3 victory was highlighted by 3 shutout quarters on defense. The outstanding player of the game against Knoxville Catholic was Liam Hussey (Attack) with 7 goals, and 3 assists. The Raptors look to extend the win streak tomorrow with a game at Ensworth.  It is a varsity-only day with face off scheduled for 6:00 PM.
