SURVEY THE NEEDS – FUND THEM – BUILD IT – and fund the operations in a solvent manner.
Reduce the financial burdens on parents and use property taxes as they are intended for educational needs.
The primary objective for the Ravenwood Athletics Capital Excellence (RACE Fund) project is to establish alternative sustainable revenue generators to supplement major capital projects at RHS that would not otherwise be viable using current funding methods offered by and for booster clubs. RAC and WCS Administration shall work together to achieve our goals. We will also create better outcomes that will be visibly seen once they are constructed.
The Top five RACE Fund Projects are:
- Build an athletics fieldhouse as an income generator similar to Crocket Indoor Arena, D1 Sports training and Battle Ground Academy’s
- Turf Field for the main stadium to empower more sports to be played on our fields and lower annual maintenance expenses. (FUNDED and planned for completion Fall 2021)

Jumbotron for the Main Gym(DONE – Summer 2020) - Front Lobby Branding and Trophy Case – to feature the spirit and success of our programs.
- Jumbotron for main stadium to improve the education curriculum, game experience, and generate new annual income for Boosters. (FUNDED but not approved - targeted for completion Fall 2022)
And recently added is the Wrestling – Cheer Center, to be constructed to provide what should have been built from the beginning to support wrestling and a nationally ranked cheer and dance program.
Our goal is to fully fund and open these projects before 2025.
