The results from Thursday's Region 6-AAA show the Lady Raptors in fifth place, but they don't tell the whole story. Looking through the names of the runners, you won't find five of Ravenwood's top seven from our July 29th time trial. Most teams missing almost their entire varsity squad would experience a significant drop, but the girls ran with a lot of heart, exceeding all expectations.

For the fourth straight meet, senior Isabella Bolinger led the way. She clocked a 20:23 to finish her high school career with a new PR. Charlotte Remkus and Tiffany Rocha also ran PRs, with Hadar Biger and Kelly Gilroy rounding out the scoring for the Lady Raptors. 

The JV girls turned in a terrific race too, finishing runners up behind Brentwood. Mae Sheehan, Margaret Anne Hannon, Annabelle Klein, Ashley Yeung, and Addison Boggs all finished in the top 20. Carol Milne and Paisley Stone were sixth and seventh for the Lady Raptors. Mae, Margaret Anne, Annabelle, Ashley, Addison, Channing Brown, and Sylvia Fikri all ran their best times of the season.

With only three seniors graduating, there is a strong foundation upon which to build. Coach Mueller and Coach Swanson are looking forward to the fun!
