No one can say that the Ravenwood Raptors and the Nolensville Knights didn't come to play soccer last night. The two teams battled for the better part of the first half until a goal by senior Anna Augustini sent the Raptors to half time with a 1-0 advantage. Augustini would match that goal in the second half expanding the Lady Raptor lead to 2-0. Giving the Raptor a comfortable 3-0 lead, junior Anna Jahr place a fantastic goal to the back of the net off of a beautiful cross from senior Sierra Hetherington. Ravenwood's defense led by Faith Vanston, Abigail White, Madison Sumatra, Sarah Cloud and Josie Ricketts were a force to be reckoned with, keeping the Knights scoreless for a final Ravenwood 3-0 victory. This Thursday the Lady Raptors take on Harpeth Hall. Kick off at 7 pm at Ravenwood.
