Day 1
The Raptors wrestled extremely well in the Region 7 tournament at Antioch HS, and appear to be peaking at the right moment. All eight advanced to the second day. Three are undefeated advanced to the semi- finals: Noah Kang, Dylan Martin, and Bryan Rice. Last year, Ravenwood only advanced two wrestlers to the second day with no semi-finalists. Day 2 is "pay day" for our Raptors! Top 4 in each bracket go to state. Wrestling (the semi-finals) continues at 10AM tomorrow.
Day 2
Though a few Raptor wrestlers narrowly missed qualifying for this year's state tournament, the boys continued to show huge growth at regionals. Ravenwood went from just regional place-winner in 2019 to five regional place-winners in 2020. The 2020 Raptors also quadrupled their 2019 regional team point total.

152—Jet Steinke: 6th place
220—Bryan Rice: 2nd place
Bryan Rice will represent Ravenwood at the state tournament at the Williamson County Ag Center next weekend!
