The Lady Raptors celebrate a big victory over Harpeth Hall.

Following their lone loss to Ensworth in early April, the Lady Raptors took down state powerhouse Harpeth Hall and rival Brentwood in back to back games and have reeled off a total of six straight wins as they enter postseason play. On April 16th, the Ravenwood Girls Lacrosse team defeated the undefeated Bears of Harpeth Hall. Harpeth Hall came into the game 11-0 and ranked number 1 in the state. The Raptors took down Harpeth Hall with fantastic, constricting defense. Ravenwood used a lightning-quick, cognitive offense to win the game 13-8. This was a huge, emotional win for the girls and Head Coach Bill Dryer.

In what could have been a "trap" game, following the emotional victory over Harpeth Hall, the girls banded together to beat Brentwood less than a week later in a high-scoring Battle of the Woods, 20-14. In the final two contests of the year, the Lady Raptors outscored University School Nashville and Father Ryan 41-10 in back to back home matchups. The girls have officially taken over as the number 1 ranked girls lacrosse team in the state of Tennessee. Now, only 3 games stand between the girls and Ravenwood's first ever state championship in girls lacrosse.  Stay tuned for the playoff schedule which is being finalized in the next few days!
