Girls Lacrosse Starts Season Strong

The Varsity Girls Lacrosse team is now 7-1 after a tough loss to Ensworth on Tuesday night. The Lady Raptors had been on a 7 game win streak to start the year before this recent loss. Leading the team with a strong offensive start are Margaret Gleason, Julianna Iovine, Hannah Lee Keller, and Andie McConnel. Gleason is currently the teams high scorer with 27 goals, while Iovine is leading the Lady Raptors in assists with 22. On the deffensive end, seniors Maya Thieme and Molly Sumerel are leading the charge. Sophomore Ava Ventimiglia is making great efforts as the teams only varsity goalie. The Lady Raptors will continue their season at 7:30 PM on Friday against Houston at home.
