Ravenwood's boys cross country teams got off to a terrific start Saturday morning at the Coleman Midgett Invitational in Hendersonville. Will Johnson led the way with a relaxed 16:19, followed by fellow seniors Caleb West and Graham Franklin and freshman Robert Hininger, Caleb MacDonal, and AJ Algood, all of whom clocked a PR. Sophomore Andrew Fitch placed 7th for the Raptors, who finished 7th overall. "Obviously missing Miles cost us three or four places in the team competition, but I am really proud of how the guys ran today. To have more than half the roster PR on a hilly course with this heat and humidity, I couldn't ask for much more. Super start to the season!" enthused Coach Mueller.

The JV team placed 4th, with Matthew Silva, Caleb Myers, Grayson Elder, Chris Robertson, and Ben Robertson scoring. Stephen Yachimski and Andrew Story were 6th and 7th. All of the freshman ran PRs, as did sophomore Jay Denery and senior Joey Horrell. 

The boys will be back in action in two weeks at the Voyles Classic.
