Last week, the Raptor boys soccer program had two big district matchups. Ravenwood Varsity defeated Summit 5-1 on Tuesday, April 9th. Goals by Travis Born, Max Frasher, Ethan Glass, Nick Dang, and Sisay Putty helped put away the Spartans. JV also played Tuesday and came away with  a 3-0 win against the Spartans. JV goals were all from Mateo Garay, who put up an impressive hat trick.

On Friday, April 12th, both boys teams faced off against Franklin. Varsity battled to a scoreless draw, while JV secured a 2-0 victory. Goals were scored by Mateo Garay and Adam McMullen.  With help from goalkeeper Carleton O'neil and a stellar defense, JV posted their 6th shutout of the season to move to 8-1 overall and 4-0 in district play. Varsity now sits at 5-2-2 overall and 2-1-1 in the district. Next up: both teams travel to Nolensville on Tuesday evening to play in non-district matchups.
