On Tuesday, April 2nd, Ravenwood Varsity and JV soccer played against Centennial in critical district games. Varsity had an overwhelming 6-1 victory with goals by Saisay Putty, Jaydon Chisolm, Ethan Glass, Max Frasher (2), and Dominic Miller. On the same day, JV was victorious 4-1 against the Cougars with goals by Ben Britt, Mateo Garay, Evan Waggoner, and Reece Curling.
The Raptors also had a tough but exciting non-district matchup last night against Overton, falling 5-2. Goals by Jaydon Chisolm and David Coggin were not enough as the Raptors couldn't keep pace in the high scoring affair. The JV team also fell to Overton, 3-0, suffering their first loss of the season. Varsity currently sits at 4-2-1, 1-1 in district. JV is an impressive 6-1, 2-0 in conference. Both squads look to bounce back next Tuesday, April 9th with home district matchups against Summit.
