After a Long Layoff, It's Time for Battle of the Woods

Boys soccer kicked off the 2019 season with a 4-1 win on the road against the Page Patriots on March 12th. The first goal of the season was scored by Nick Dang and was followed by one more goal before the half by Jaydon Chisolm. Raptors led 2-0 going into the half. The second half opened up with a goal from Christian Harvey but Page answered back right away with a goal to make it a 3-1 in favor of the Raptors. Ethan Glass sealed the deal with a fourth goal for the Raptors, and when time was called, the Raptors were victorious with a 4-1 final score.

The Raptors were looking foward to play the home opener against district rival Franklin on March 14th, but due to inclement weather the game was postponed until April 12th. The Raptors took a week off of games for spring break and what better way to get back into the groove then to play Brentwood. Brentwood is coming off a shutout win against Oakland High School. With both teams starting the season 1-0, this Battle of the Woods should be an intense one. The Raptors are at home tonight so bring a friend and support your Raptors! JV starts at 5:00 PM. Varsity at 7:00 PM.
