Evan Gainer and Rocco Lamuno wanted some momentum going into the New Year and the gauntlet of District 10-4A hoops.
Well, they got it.
The Ravenwood High School seniors guided the Raptors to the More Than Basketball tournament championship at Lipscomb Academy Friday night with a 56-43 win over the host Mustangs. Ravenwood continued its best start in school history with a perfect 11-0 record and also extended the program's longest winning streak.
