It's been a stressful week for the Ravenwood High School boys' basketball team.
Stressful, but successful.
Using a dramatic fourth-quarter comeback and two clutch free throws by Will Brent with three seconds left in overtime, the Raptors downed Nolensville, 49-48, on Friday night in a District 12-4A game at Ravenwood. The victory came just three days after the Raptors had knocked off Brentwood, 50-48.
"Two wins over two rivals this week at home – it's been a good week," Ravenwood coach Patrick Whitlock said. "But they didn't come easily. It's been that kind of year. It seems like every game comes down to the last possession or overtime. I don't know what to say?
"Just another Friday night in Williamson County."
