Coming off an emotional win over Franklin on Monday the boys basketball team defeated Oakland in their home opener 52-50.  The Raptors trailed by 9 going into the fourth quarter and were down 50-40 with just under 6 minutes to go.  Ravenwood held Oakland scoreless the last 5:40 and finished the game on a 12-0 run, highlighted by 3pt shots by evan Gainer and Will Brent.  After holding the ball for 1:30 Gainer missed a runner in the lane but Brett Shelby tipped in the shot as time expired.  

Evan Gainer had 17 points, Rocco Lamuno 10, Ethan Myers 9 and Will Brent finished with 8.

Ravenwood returns to action next Tuesday at Region foe Hillsboro.
