Be ready for a wild one. Pulaski Academy won its season opener two weeks ago 84-68 over Springdale Har-Ber. Quarterback Braden Bratcher was 35-of-52 passing for a whopping 764 yards, an Arkansas state record. He had 900 total yards.
Pulaski Academy coach Kevin Kelley is known for not punting and going for it on fourth down.
Ravenwood quarterback Brian Garcia is 35-of-55 through three games with 542 yards. The homecoming matchup is going to be a barn burner, and one of the Raptors' hardest tests on the schedule.
"It's going to be nothing like we've ever seen next week," Raptors head coach Matt Daniels said last week about the game. "We're excited for it. This is what high school football is all about."
This homecoming matchup for Ravenwood will be the first meeting between the two programs.
The game will be broadcasted on WUXP-TV (Ch. 30) Friday Night Rivals airing at 7 p.m.
