Late Score Costs Raptors Varsity Against Summit

The Raptors stayed in it until the end, but Summit pulled away late in a 5-3 victory on Monday. The game was tied at three with Summit batting in the top of the sixth when #31 grounded out, scoring one run. #20 was on the pitcher's mound for Summit. He lasted six innings, allowing three hits and three runs while striking out seven. Shane Craig was on the hill for 2019 Ravenwood Raptors Varsity. He went five innings, allowing zero runs on one hit, striking out five and walking one. Zane Denton threw two innings in relief. Lawson Evans led 2019 Ravenwood Raptors Varsity with two hits in three at bats. #16 went 2-for-4 at the plate to lead Summit in hits.
